Our local expertise
Tailor-Made Primates & Wildlife Safaris in the Pearl of Africa
Million Mile Adventures is a Ugandan company. Our office sits on the Entebbe road, and our guides live near the gateway regions they work in — the Bwindi trailheads and the Kibale forest edge. When you ask which gorilla family suits a knee injury, or which lodge actually has hot water in the green season, you're asking people who slept there last month.
That matters commercially, too. Booking through an overseas agency adds a layer of markup on top of the same Ugandan ground handler. We hold direct trade accounts with mid-range and luxury lodges in Bwindi, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls, so the value stays in your itinerary rather than in a middleman's margin.
We quote statutory costs — permits, park entry, boat cruises — openly at cost, and we publish our permit figures so nothing lands as a surprise at checkout. Our consultants answer on WhatsApp, usually within the hour, because a $2,000 decision deserves a conversation with a person.
